My initial reaction of 1101
This is my first college class i have ever taken. I did not know what to expect at first, but after a week i had a good idea of what it was going like. To me, it seemed like it was going to be a challenge, yet at the same time it would be a good class to take while still in high school. From the beginning of the year, till now i have many thougths on the class, people in the class, and the assignments.
First the class. I like the class 1101, it is going to be a challenge to me since i have not wrote many essays in my life; so i have my work cut out for me. I have learned a lot of new/different ideas on how to write essays and the grammatical format they need to be written in. I also have to learn how to write using better English to be successful in 1101and 1102.
The people in my class are alright. I don't have a problem with any idividual in this class. Sometimes i get annoyed or irritated with some of them but I eventually get over it. There are people in this class that i have never really talked to before until now.If i had not taken this class, i don't think i would have went up to in the hallway and started a conversation with them, but there are a bunch of people in the class that i do talk to in the hallway and that i am good friends with.
The assignments in the class are going to be a challenge to me. Like i said, "I have not wrote many essays in my life." So i am going to have to learn how to write essay's successfully. I did not like the first essay we had at all, but i did not mind the second one. So hopefully the rest of the essay's in 1101 and in 1102 are not that difficult for me.
Overall, i like the class and i am glad that i took 1101 while i am still in high school. I am also happy that i signed up for 1102 next quarter.Those were my initial thoughts on this class, the people in the class, and the assignments in the class.
